Weeding to Grow

Woosh and a swish
Vibrating indecisiveness
Quiver of wonder
To look into the splendor
Of life greater

Hardening of refusal
To shy far from
Lurking danger of initiative

Click click
Hailing of filth
Flood of orgy porgy
Swim until you sink

Lightning strikes
So the soul so fried
Electrifies as it slowly dies
To concreted soot

Tripped from the cliff
Into a falling life
Deeper and deeper
Rage of terror
And how did I get here?

Free me, free me
So many plead
Yet immediate freeing does not come
For flowers bound by years of weeds

Tear out the lust
Rip out the temptation
Soften the soul
Relay the soil

Pray the Sun above
Beams down in love
Refreshing the plant that once was
Fading to dust

Becoming sturdy
In growth and love
Absorbed in light
Now spread the Son

Decide to do
Decide to be
The penetrating exuberance
Those beyond the cliff need to see

Following the light
Perseveringly as it leads
To glorious, rebellious peace
